Call for Participation

HFT 2008 provides a forum for academicians, designers and all practitioners to discuss the challenge and potential solutions for telecommunication and Information and Communication Technology (ICT) services, applications, and related research and development.

The theme for this year is User Experience of ICTs. We invite papers and posters to address the topics mentioned below, but contributions in related fields are also welcomed. Submission and conference topics include, but are not limited to:

Digital convergence and the user experience of devices, services and media
Multimodal, multi-device services and applications
Mobile communication, content, services and applications
Public telecommunication, its services, utilities and applications
Social aspects and impacts on our society
Multicultural perspectives of ICT-e.g. Asian culture and its ICT design

Location-aware and positioning services

Design studies, development and usability methodologies and measures
